Destination Activities

BIRD WATCHING

Magamba Nature Forest Reserve is home to a wide range of endemic, rare and endangered bird species. There are specialised bird guides who will direct you to the right watching spots such as Grewal kwehondo and Sekomu trails. One can also conduct a night walk to view some birds which can easily be viewed during the night. To get a professional and qualified guide a tourist should contact MNFR office for more information. It is advised to carry your own equipment for bird watching such as a camera and binoculars.
